traveling. immersing yourself in different cultures. getting inspired by their fashion. taking that inspiration and making it your own.
all in a day of a free people designers' work. no wonder they're my favorite brand, this is so inspiring in itself.
now if only I actually had a good enough sense of creativity to be a designer. or a "'good eye' for fashion" as la foret ads would say.

Seriously, this gets me so excited... I think it's the off-the-charts unexpected-ness of it. The structured, formal nature of the blazer together with the casual, carefree fringe.

This totally reaffirms my love for UO. My personal style can be so random, but one thing stays constant throughout my selection of likes. They're different. Different in the sense that someone took a basic idea (like a blazer) and switched it up a little (with fringe) and voila! ...a totally new item.

Lots of people will look at the fashion industry and the clothing that's offered in stores today and think... well, what else could they possibly come up with? Everything's been done! ... duh, that's so far from the truth. And blending ideas like this make it even father from reality.

UO and Free People never fail to deliver things like this... clothing with a twist.

now how in the world am i supposed to say no to a combination like that!? especially when decent shoes for that price in tokyo just don't exist.
